Installation
  1. On your server, launch the SEAGULL Security Server by double clicking on the desktop icon.

  2. On the Toolbar go to File:Save As and give your configuration a name. Any name will do.  Click Save.

NOTE This is precautionary. The SEAGULL Security Server Upgrade should not disturb any of your Bindings or Connections.
  3. Close the SEAGULL Security Server application.

  4. On your server go to “Services” and stop the SEAGULL Security Server Service.

    Windows NT
Go to Start:Settings:Control Panel, and double click on Services.

Find the SEAGULL Security Server Service in the list and click the Stop button.

    Windows 2000

Find the SEAGULL Security Server Service in the list, highlight it, right click and click Stop.

  5. Insert the BlueZone CD-ROM into your CD drive. It will automatically launch the SEAGULL BlueZone Software “Splash Screen”. Go to SEAGULL Products and select SEAGULL Security Server.

NOTE If you downloaded the BlueZone CD image from SEAGULL Customer Support, or don’t have “autorun” enabled, browse to the Security Server folder and double click the setup.exe file instead.
  6. The SEAGULL Security Server Set up screen will launch. Leave all default values as they are and click Install.

  7. After the installation is complete, go to “Services”, find the SEAGULL Security Server Service and start it.
